The statement partly reads, “The Student Union Executive Council, led by Comrade Sen. Idowu Prosper Oladele, wants to reassure you that the president is fully aware of the current concerns and will address them on October 27, 2024, at 8 p.m. It’s important to know that the president has your best interests at heart.

“I encourage everyone to disregard any negative news circulating, as the president will provide clarity and updates in due time.”

Recall that in the early hours of today, PRESS CLUB MAPOLY published an editorial highlighting with evidence, the negligence of the current Students’ Union Executive Council in terms of transparency, truthfulness, inclusivity towards the students, and the need for them to bridge the communication gap between their office and the student populace.
