All seems set for the 2019/20 Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS) elections as the AMACOS Electoral Committee (AMEC) rolled out its plans for the elections.
Preparations began with the election of electoral committee members across all levels in the department.
The committee in a statement made available to Press Club MAPOLY signed by the chairman, Felix Idowu and General Secretary, Eke Amaka, announced the commencement of sales of forms to mark the commencement of the electoral process.
The statement reads, “the Amacos Electoral Committee (AMEC),hereby inform all aspirants for any post in the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS) for 2019/2020 academic session, that the form is available for sale.
“Therefore, the price of presidency form is N6000 and N5000 only for other post. Interested aspirant are to purchase the form between now (3/12/2019) to Tuesday (10/12/2019). Sale of form closes 10 am on Tuesday.”
In a related development, the committee stated the grade point consideration for each post and allotting the 14 posts to different levels and study programmes of the department.

The committee went further to release an electoral calendar which shows Tuesday Decemeber 10 as screening date, Wednesday December 11 as manifesto day while Friday December 13 was scheduled as the election day.
