Beware of Fraud, MAPOLY Cautions, Opens Admission Window For Freshers

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, has warned the general public to be cautious of fraud as it officially opened the admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a statement signed by the institution’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Yemi Ajibola, MAPOLY emphasized that it does not engage any third-party agents for its admission process, and all candidates should avoid dealings with self-proclaimed admission middlemen.

“Applicants are advised to deal directly with the institution through our official platforms. Under no circumstances should they patronize fraudsters posing as agents of the Polytechnic,” Ajibola warned.

The statement further announced that the processing of admission application forms into all programmes, National Diploma (Full-Time and Part-Time) and Higher National Diploma (Full-Time and Part-Time), has commenced and will close on Sunday, 14th September, 2025.

For Post-UTME applicants, only those who scored 100 and above in the 2025 UTME and selected MAPOLY as their first choice are eligible to apply.

According to the statement, such candidates must also upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System, CAPS, to be considered.

It further stressed that candidates who did not initially choose MAPOLY as their first choice must first process a change of institution on the JAMB portal before applying through the school’s website.

Additionally, National Diploma, ND, Part-Time applicants are expected to complete the JAMB Part-Time application form at any JAMB office using their National Identification Number, NIN, and must submit proof of completion before being considered.

Application forms for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, both Full-Time and Part-Time, are also available on the institution’s portal.

Additionally, MAPOLY stressed that the admission process remains strictly based on merit. “There will be no room for favouritism or backdoor arrangements,” the statement reiterated.

Therefore, prospective applicants are urged to review the specific admission requirements before proceeding with their applications to avoid disqualification.
