WHAT IS E-LEARNING?
Understanding E-Learning is simple. It is learning utilizing electronic technologies to access educational curriculum outside of a traditional classroom. In most cases, it refers to a course, program or degree delivered completely online.
E-learning refers to the type of learning that is done through the internet or any electronic means.It is simply known as learning done online.
WHAT MAKES E-LEARNING SUCCESSFUL
High quality content, polished design, and easy navigability are three important ingredients of any successful e-learning course.
However, one of the most essential elements of an e-learning course design and development is often overlooked and that is no other than interactivity.
HOW IS E-LEARNING USED
E-learning allows students and individuals of all ages to learn new skills without the restrictions of a traditional classroom.
Young and old alike are using online courses to help improve their career, gain a promotion, or just to learn a new skill.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MAPOLY E-LEARNING
With the Coronavirus pandemic currently ravaging the world, online learning has become the new trend for schools which is why MAPOLY decided to make use of the Learning Management System (LMS) software to assist students move forward in their academics.
The Learning Management System (LMS) allows students have access to course materials, test, quizzes and assignment.
Students can now easily have access to their learning materials at their finger tips using their android device or laptops with a good internet connection which is totally different from the physical classes.
With the LMS, students can access their e-learning portal from anywhere, at anytime and at their own pace.
Many student are of the opinion that accessing the e-learning portal is a bit difficult and only for those with computer knowledge alone but this is not true.
Students are to ensure they complete the necessary e-registrations which allows them to access and partake in the online lectures.
MAPOLY E-Learning could simply be accessed by visiting the school website @www.mapoly.edu.ng.
The e-learning icon would be spotted on the school website which is to be clicked on to take students to the e-learning portal home page.
After the e-learning portal has been shown, students are to enter their matriculation number as the username and password to login.
This will then automatically welcome students to the e-learning page where they can have access to classes, downloadable materials, take quizzes and submit assignments online.
Accessing the e-learning is really that simple it is not difficult at all.
Note that only students who have paid either 60% or full school fees payment will be allowed to have access to lectures and other features on the e-learning portal.
