The former Students Union President, Oladele Prosper, who protested the appointment of Dr Babatunde Jolaoso as the Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, laying allegations and demanding his removal a few months ago, has presented an award of excellence to the rector.
Recall that on January 13, PCM reported that Chemical demanded the quick removal of Dr Jolaoso, after passing “a vote of no confidence” in him.
However, on Friday, he presented an award of excellence to the rector, recognizing his exceptional service, commitment, and invaluable contributions to the advancement of students and the betterment of the institution.

In a statement by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Yemi Ajibola, the rector expressed his gratitude, dedicating the award to the workforce of the Polytechnic.
He also acknowledged the unexpected honor and called for the support of all stakeholders as ambassadors to achieve his rebranding agenda for the development of his alma mater.

The award presentation setting had in attendance notable figures, including Deputy Rector Dr. Mrs. Yetunde Lanre-Iyanda, Registrar Mrs. Olubunmi Elewodalu, Polytechnic Librarian Mrs. Basirat Akintunde, and friend of the Polytechnic Dr. Mrs. Cynthia. The immediate past Students’ Union Speaker, Rt. Hon. Akanle Moses Oladimeji, was also present.
