Fresh Students Lament Over Poor Admission Process

The newly admitted students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), have lamented over the poor registration process in the institution.

Some of the fresh students disclosed to PRESS CLUB MAPOLY that the school portal is not helping with the registration process.

 A student of Electronic Electrical Engineering, Oloyede Peter, said he has issues with the institution’s portal, which also makes it difficult for him to pay his tuition on time and raises the possibility of changing his matriculation number.

He added that the registration process in MAPOLY is too stressful.

Adding to the heat, Oladipupo Iyanuoluwa from Mass Communication said moving from one location to another and the inadequate network on the school grounds caused a great deal of stress during the registration procedure.

Iyanuoluwa added that the disparity between full-time and part-time students has produced a lot of issues and discomfort since lecturers are refusing to conduct evening sessions and have voiced complaints about the lengthy admissions process.

Adebayo Oluwatimileyin from Business Administration added that registration is tough and it costs a lot.

He also criticized the institution’s standards, saying they were excessively strict for students who were no longer in secondary school, such as the prohibition of palm slippers, colorful hair for either gender, crop tops for girls, and crazy jeans for either gender.
