The chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission has warned against the negative use of money during election process.
Prof Mahmood Yakubu, on Monday, lamented this in Abuja, at a stakeholders submit aimed at addressing the influence of money on the 2023 general election.
Yakubu lamented, in his welcome address, the negative role of money in the electioneering process, were the will of people can be compromise at the election cycle, however he stated that 2023 election will take a change and there will more supervision against the negative use of money.
He therefore disclosed the readiness of the commission to sign a memorandum of understanding with transport owners/stakeholders today (Monday) for the supply of vehicles during election….
