Management reschedules matriculation, advises freshers on registration

Polytechnic has given August 15 as the new matriculation date for the 2018/2019 matriculation and Oath taking ceremony of the institution.

Its also advised fresh students of the institution to get their matriculation numbers before the date to avoid forfeiture of admission.

Recall that the matriculation and oath taking ceremony of the institution was earlier scheduled to hold on August 8.

The notification of the postponement was contained in a press release signed by the school PRO, Yemi Ajibola.

According to the press release, the postponement was necessary due to Logistics reasons.

The release reads, "Authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta hereby announce the postponement of matriculation & oath-taking ceremony to Thursday, 15th August, 2019.

"The event, which was earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, 8th August, 2019, was shifted due to logistics.

"By this development, all newly admitted students for National Diploma & Higher National Diploma programmes full time and part time are advised to complete their registrations for the first semester 2018/2019 academic session without further delay.

"It should be observed that, any fresh student without matriculation number, will not partake in the matriculation and oath-taking exercise, hence, will forfeit his/her provisional admission.

"The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the O.G.D Auditorium on Thursday, 15th August, 2019 by 9:30am prompt.

"All matriculating students are advised to visit their respective School Offices for further details."

Management had extended registrations to last weekend to fast track students’ registrations having earlier announced August 2nd registration deadline.
