Newly admitted students have been asking what they need to complete their clearance in
school. Press Club MAPOLY hereby is hereby providing answers to this particular questions out of all variety of them.
What you need to complete your clearance.
1. Clearance form (online printout duly filled by such student): You are required to fill in your details where necessary on the form. These details include; passport photograph, names, O’level result, signature and date. ND results, year of graduation, year and month of Industrial Training (IT) [For HND applicants].
2. Acceptance Receipt (online printout): To show that you have accepted the provisional admission offered you by MAPOLY, you will need to provide the online printout of your acceptance receipt.
3. 3 photocopies of O’level result: Another important document needed for your clearance is your O’level. If not carefully attended to, you may have to be sent back a lot of times after visiting your school especially when your result is concerned. Press Club understands that applicants who sat for the 2016 WAEC exams and would like to use the result for admission this year must get photocopies of the STATEMENT OF RESULT issued by your secondary school since the original WAEC result is not available. Others who are using previous years result must present photocopies of their ORIGINAL WAEC RESULTS for clearance. May/June and June/July WAEC and NECO candidates would have to visit their respective secondary schools to get such documents. While those sat for GCE exams are to visit the WAEC and NECO offices to get the original results.
NB: 3 photocopies of the results with a passport photograph attached to the top of each document would be accepted.
4. JAMB Result Slip: Press Club MAPOLY understands that admitted students are expected to present his/her JAMB notification of result slip with the JAMB/UTME online result checker (scratch card) attached to it. The scratch card in question is quite different from that used for the UTME registration. You’ll have to buy a new card.
5: Change of Institution Form (where applicable): This part is only applicable to those who didn’t choose MAPOLY when obtaining the JAMB form but purchased the MAPOLY Admission Screening form and has been admitted. You are to obtain this form online through your portal www.mapoly.edu.ng print the receipt and include in the documents. The form is N12,650 online.
6. Second Choice Form (where applicable): This part applies to applicants chose MAPOLY as More Preferred Degree Awarding (choice) when obtaining the 2016 UTME form (i.e. You didn’t choose MAPOLY as first choice but second choice). Press Club understands that if you fall into this category, you’ll have to obtain Second Choice form for N10,150 online through your portal www.mapoly.edu.ng Print the receipt and include in the afformentioned documents.
If you have all these documents intact, then your clearance is a go. Remember your clearance makes you an student of MAPOLY and it is only after the clearance that you will be able to pay your school fee (tuition). Doing this in earnest will save you time. Best of luck.
