… releases third-batch admission list

Following the suspension of the nationwide strike embarked by Academic Staff Union of Polytehnics (ASUP), the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has ordered its students to resume back for academic and registration processes.
In a communique signed by the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Yemi Ajibola, he noted that the registration process for the newly admitted students is still ongoing, while returning students have been instructed to resume back for their lectures.
The release reads, "Following the suspension of industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), the Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has directed that all students should report to Campus immediately.
" By this development, all newly admitted students, for National Diploma at Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia & Higher National Diploma at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta are to complete their registration in MAPOLY as from Monday 18th February, 2019 in preparation for resumption of academic activities.
"Similarly, all returning students, who are yet to complete the payment of their school fees are advised to do so and complete their registration without further delay while management is making efforts to adjust academic timetable to wind up the semester.
"It should be recalled that, the lecturers have resumed work since Wednesday, 13th February, 2019, which indicated the commencement of academic activities.
Recall that all academic activities as well as some semester registration processes were ceased following the announcement of ASUP Mapoly to join the National strike on December 12, 2018.
However, a PCM correspondent who visited the school observed the low turn out of students in classes. Further finding revealed that lecturers were available but could not teach, seeing that only few students were available.
Meanwhile, the third batch of admission list for 2018/2019 academic session has been released for Higher National Diploma (HND) and for National Diploma (ND) applicants.
All newly admitted students, who have been enabled for payment of school fee, are advised to proceed to the websites www.mapoly.edu.ng (for HND candidates) or www.ogunpoly.edu.ng (for ND candidates) to pay their school fee and complete their studentship registration.
