The Governing Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has appointed Mrs Olubunmi Elewodalu as the new Registrar and Alhaja Basirat Akintunde as the new Librarian of the institution.
This was according to a statement which was signed by the institution Public Relations Officer, Mr Yemi Ajibola.
According to the statement, both appointments take a retrospective effect from Monday, December 22, 2022 for a single non- renewable terms of five years.
PRESS CLUB MAPOLY gathered that Mrs Elewodalu emerged as the 6th and the 2nd female registrar in the Polytechnic, as she succeeded Mr. Emmanuel Adeleye, who retired on December 21, 2022 .
It was also gathered that she was the Deputy Registrar, Academics Affairs Division 1 of the Polytechnic in2019. She joined the service of the institution as the Administrative officer 1 before he rose through the ranks
Also, the Librarain Registration Council of Nigeria, LRCN, licensed Mrs Basirat Olayinka Akintunde as a chartered Librarian1 in 2002.
Mrs Akintunde has a first degree, Bachelor of Arts, in Islamic studies at university of Ilorin in 1992 and proceeded to the University of Ibadan for her masters in Library and information studies in 2001
Until her appointment she was the Acting Head of Polytechnic Library
