A meeting between the executive and legislative council in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic was held as both parties have agreed to meet the school management over impending issues facing the institution.
The meeting had in attendance executives of the Student Union, departmental president from
Mass Communication, Computer Science, Civil Engineering , Pharmaceutical Technology, Urban and Regional Planning, Hospitality and Marketing as well as Speaker of the Student Representative Council and some Honorables.
The meeting according to the SU Public Relations Officer, Aduragbemi Taiwo, was organised as part of measures to address the ongoing strike action and find lasting solution to the delayed 2017/2018 second semester examination.
He noted that part of the resolution of the meeting was to organize an official meeting with the school management as well as launching of the students union projects should be suspended.
However, he urged the students saying, "this is not the time to speak ill of any administration but to come together and shy the differences in political ideologies, department and interest to fight this struggle."
