The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta has confirmed that the first semester examination currently ongoing continues tommorow despite the state’s Government order that schools be shut due to the end Sars protest crises.
The Head Public Relations and Protocol of the Polytechnic, Mr Yemi Ajibola confirmed this in a statement made available to Press Club MAPOLY on Tuesday.
The PRO maintained that the curfew currently put in place by Governor Abiodun does not affect the ongoing first semester examination in the Polytechnic.
Ajibola said the state Government has granted the Polytechnic the approval to continue with the ongoing examination.
"Despite the emergency declaration of closure of schools in Ogun State on Tuesday due to the EndSARS protest crises, the State Government has granted Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta approval to proceed with her ongoing 2019/2020 academic session’s first semester examination."
He urged all returning National Diploma and Higher National Diploma (NDII and HNDII) Students of the institution to adhere to the examination time tables as scheduled.
