The long awaited students’ union election of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic was conducted on Friday May 18, as ten students were elected into respective offices.
Owoiya Razak, popularly known as Owomummy from Marketing department emerged as the new Students’ Union President while Okubote Olasubomi from Computer Science would serve as the Vice President.
Adeboni Oluwafunmilayo of Office Technology and Management was elected General Secretary against Onabanjo Olamide of Mass Communication department.
Also, Adesina Michael (Business Administration), Olaleye Hassan (Pharmaceutical Technology), and Ajasa Adetunji (Civil Engineering) would serve as Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and Welfare Director respectively.
The elected Sport Director and Social Director are Oyeyemi Adebisi, Mechanical Engineering and Arikawe Olawale, Estate Management and Valuation, while Oneafolu salas from Business Administration was elected Assistant General Secretary.
Also, Taiwo Aduragbemi of Microbiology won the post of Public Relations Officer over Abiola Ajumoko of Mass Communication.
The winners were announced to Press Club MAPOLY by SUELECO, while the official results were yet to be announced.
