The management board of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State on Wednesday, increased students’ tuition fee by N10,000.
Press Club MAPOLY reports that the increase was said to serve as a penalty for delayed payment.
It could be recalled that the board had earlier fixed, February 28 as deadline for payment of school fees for all categories of students excluding those who went on Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) as it fixed, March 9 as deadline for all students returning from SIWES.
The management had earlier said there would be no room for extension of the deadline.
