The Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU)and Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic have threatened a strike over an unpaid salary of four months and 55 months allowance.
According to the information gathered by the Press Club MAPOLY from an anonymous source on Friday via telephone interview, the salary and arrears are now over one billion.

The source revealed that the number of staff reduce every day due to unpaid salaries.
“The salary and arrears are over one billion.
“The non-teaching staff are not being paid, and they also work in an unconducive environment, yet they decide to keep the system working”.
The association appealed to the governing council to act positively else all working activities will be suspended until all demands will be fulfilled.
”Until we hear positive things from the governing council, all activities will be suspended”.
