Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta has begin test transmission for it’s online radio station.
The Online radio was unveiled on Thursday by the polytechnic management in conjuction with The Department of Mass Communication.
Speaking with Press Club MAPOLY(PCM), The Head Public Relations and Protocol Officer of the Polytechnic, Mr. Yemi Ajibola confirmed the birth of the online radio.
Ajibola told PCM the online radio is currently been test run adding that it will begin official transmission after final conclusion has been made by the management.
" The radio is now available and still undergoing test transmission".
Meanwhile, the Association of Mass Communication Students(AMACOS) led by Kehinde Akinbode in a statement implored students of the department to start creating beneficial contents for the online radio.
"Students, especially in the broadcast section of the department have been asked to generate contents which may be useful on the radio to promote our department and institution at large.
" Students have been implored to forward all contents to AMACOS executive as we urge you to welcome this great innovation in order build a progressive department together."
