The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta has again rescheduled it’s matriculation and oath taking ceremony for the 2019/2020 academic session to November 19th.
The Head Public Relations and Protocol Officer of the Polytechnic Mr. Yemi Ajibola stated this in a statement on Thursday.
Recall that Press Club MAPOLY had earlier reported that the Matriculation ceremony will hold on November 5th before it was postponed. This is the second time the management will be shifting the matriculation ceremony.
Ajibola stated that the decision to set a new matriculation date and revise the academic calendar was made by the academic board of the Polytechnic.
He disclosed that the second phase of the first semester examination for all fresh students will commence on October 23rd.
“Also, the 2nd phase of the first semester examination for all Fresh (i.e NDI and HNDI) students for the 2019/2020 academic session will commence from Monday, 23rd November to Saturday, 5th December, 2020.”
However, the PRO said all returning National Diploma and Higher National Diploma (i.e NDII and HNDII) students are expected to begin their registrations for the 2nd semester with effect November 9th to 21st November.
“Students have been advised to continuously observe COVID-19 protocols within and outside the Polytechnic premises.”he said
