Security Officers of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic lamented over the late payment of salary by the school management, and the absence of means of identification.

MAPOLYPress gathered this during an interview session with the security officers within the school premises.

One of the officers revealed that some of the security, officers in the institution have left the job, because of no means of identification, no uniform, and peanut salary that was given to them.

The officer said, “If they cannot provide an Identity card, they should give us a uniform”.

He stated that late payment of salary to the security men had made some of them quit their job in the institution.
“Let’s assume they are fighting on the road and the police were arresting people, they may arrest us because we don’t have a means of Identification”.

He further explained the reasons why management stops students from taking tinted vehicles into the institution.

“What happened is that a fight might occur at any place or robbery and to avoid being caught on the school premises, that is what we are trying to avoid.

“Those that are caught fighting, raping or stealing are the people we put inside the cell before handing them over to the police” he added.
