Moshood Abiola Polytechnic is set to introduce 17 new programmes in the coming session.
The school’s Public Relations Officer, Yemi Ajibola disclosed this in a meeting with the Press Club MAPOLY.
Ajibola said the accreditation team would visit the school this year to accredit the 17 new programmes.
"The NBTE reaccreditation team will come anytime from now to inspect the resources we have on ground for the take off of the programmes .This means the programmes would be introduced to students by the next academic session."
The list of the 17 programmes are Social Development, National Diploma; Public Health Technology, National Diploma; Epidemiology Disease Control; Fisheries. National Diploma; Environmental Science and Management Technology. National Diploma; Procurement and Supply Chain Management. National Diploma; Library and Information Science. National Diploma; Computer Hardware Engineering. National Diploma; Computer Software Engineering. National Diploma and Networking and System Security. National Diploma.
Others include: Mechanical Engineering.Higher National Diploma; Quantity Surveying. Higher National Diploma; Surveying and Geo Informatics; Hospitality Management. Higher National Diploma; Leisure and Tourism, Higher National Diploma; Nutrition and Dietetics. Higher National Diploma and Environmental Biology, Higher National Diploma.
Ajibola, however, gave update on the operation of the school radio, adding that it would be on air very soon as the school management is only waiting for approval from the National Broadcasting Commission.
He said, "The NBC would visit the radio station any time soon."
