An HND 2 student of mass communication, Samuel Ogunyinka (Psalmist) has been awarded a plot of land by Victor Eniola-Mark for performing his spoken word titled "Nigeria: Which way my country".
Psalmist performed the spoken word at the 2nd edition of the public speaking competition organised by the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS), MAPOLY.
Victor Eniola-Mark, the CEO of JAWJAW Africa who was the chief judge at the event was thrilled by Psalmist’s performance.
Ogunyina in Euphoria expressed that the gift came as a surprise.
"I wasn’t expecting that someone will come out and say because of what you have done today you’ll be awarded a land, it was a surprise.
"I was surprised when he called me. I was like did he just mentioned my name?. No matter what people say about you, you should be able to inspire your self," he expressed.
While advising others he said that "they should not look down on themselves, picture where they are going and they will get there no matter how tough, rough the road maybe"
