Students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic on Thursday outshone their counterparts from other tertiary institutions in Ogun state at the Directors’ Guide of Nigeria Nollywood fiesta held at Cultural Center in Abeokuta.
The event, which was graced by top stars in the entertainment industry, witnessed musical performance by upcoming artists, who are students of MAPOLY.
Chants of MAPOLY! UP MAPAITE!! and others rented the air as the three students from the department of Mass Communications performed to the delight of their audience.
The two upcoming musicians are Moshood Adegbite in HND 2, and Aishat Balogun aka ‘Ashbell’ in HND 1.
The other one who is a comedian is Rasheed Damilare popularly knows as "D Baba"
‘D Baba’ entertained the audience in a comical tone and clumsy voice, typical of fuji musicians.
The state governor was represented by the Commissioner for Information, Hon. Dayo Adeneye.
Adeneye expressed satisfaction in the performance of the students encouraging them to continue showcasing their talents.
