
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, students have been invited to participate in a free technology training program offered by Huawei Technology ICT Academy.
This was made known in a statement signed by the institution’s Director of Centre for Skills Development Dr. Ahmad Apampa.
According to the statement, the training aims to develop students’ skills in machine learning and deep learning algorithms, providing them with the skills needed to master the basic principles of modern AI and machine learning.
As gathered, incentive and active students who join any online class and carefully study the course content before taking the final mock test will receive $10 and certification from the organizers.
The statement read, “This is to invite interested Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta (MAPOLY) Students to benefit from the 1st Batch of Huawei Technology ICT Academy Training on various technology skills.
“This course will develop students’ capabilities of using machine learning and deep learning algorithms, providing students with the skills needed to master the basic principles of modern AI and machine learning.
“This course aims to lay a foundation of a skilled workforce for future AI project planning and solution design for students.”
Therefore, interested students in the institution were enjoined to apply, join the instructor class, take the mock exam to become skilled AI students.

“Fill in your studentship details correctly (Full name, matriculation number, department and phone number are very important) and wait for approval shortly.”
The organizers have, however, set June 28, 2024 as the deadline for the application, adding that the AI course will begin after the registration on Monday, July 1, 2024.
