MAPOLY: SUG:Management Suspends Jamb Reg, Calls For Immediate Registration Of ND1 Students

The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has suspended the Joint Admission Matriculation Board Registration, JAMB of ND1 Students till further notice, following a plea from The Student Union Government, SUG under the leadership of Comrade Ajani Sodiq Damilola.

This was done to hasten the registration process of the ND1 students, in preparation for their examinations.

The SUG president, Optimum revealed this in a press release, stating the steps it had taken to convince the school management to exempt current ND1 Students from the mandatory JAMB Regularization till further notice.

The press release reads, "The Students Representative Council (SRC) has been able to convince the school management to exempt current ND1 Students from the mandatory JAMB Regularization till further notice. This means that ND1 Students can proceed with their registration in school for this semester without the JAMB registration."

However, Optimum emphasized that "the JAMB regularization remains compulsory for all returning and part-time Students as one of the requirements to partake in the forthcoming exams." He said.

In the same vein, the SUG president revealed that the school management has given the grace of two weeks to Mass Communication ND2 Students, (IT students) to complete their registration, due to the late release of their results.

As part of easing the stress of the students and avoiding long queues at the school linkages, the SUG president has implored the concerned students to visit any other alternate jamb CBT center for registration.
