Spends 118 million on new building

Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Professor Oludele Itiola has disclosed that the management will spend N2 million on providing street lights on campus.
The projected fund will be spent on the rehabilitation and repairs of street lights across the polytechnic campus.
Itiola added that the management decision to illuminate the campus is in a bid to prevent “un-wholesome activities that would have taken place under dark environment.”
The Rector stated this while defending the 2017 Budget proposal of the polytechnic before the Ogun State House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation.
He also added that the institution is also planning to spend N118.5million on construction of new building within the campus.
Press Club gathered that the proposed building may be the Senate building. This will be in preparation for the degree-awarding status of the institution.
