
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) has announced that it will shut down its portal for school fees payment on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
This was according to a press statement circulated and signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, PRO, Yemi Ajibola on Friday.
According to the statement, the decision was made on Thursday during a meeting organized by the school’s Academic Board.
As gathered, the decision was also part of the institution’s adjustment to its academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session.
In the same vein, the Board set a deadline of Monday, June 24, 2024, for the release and uploading of results on the portal.
Also, the statement stressed that the first semester examination will now commence on Monday, July 1, 2024, and will last for three weeks until Saturday, July 20, 2024.
The statement read, “At the emergency Academic Board meeting held on Thursday, 20th June, 2024, the Authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta have shifted the commencement date for the 2023/2024 first semester examination to Monday, 1st July, 2024 for all categories of students.
“This was rarified(sic), purposely, to enable students have seamless registration and preparation for the examination.
“By this development, the Board had set machinery in motion to ensure the release and uploading of results on the portal latest by Monday, 24th June, 2024.
“The examination, which will last for 3 weeks from Monday, 1st till Saturday 20th July, 2024, will mark the end of first semester 2023/2024 academic session.”
However, the Board emphasized that only duly registered students would be allowed to partake in the forthcoming examinations.
“It should be noted that the tuition portal will be finally shut down for the semester on Tuesday, 25th June, 2024 while revisions and registration will continue till Saturday, 29th June,2024,” the statement added.
Therefore, the Rector and Board Chairman, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, urged students to maximize the opportunity to prepare and wished them success in the examinations.
