…as Mgt. fixes new date for matriculation

The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has confirmed that the first-semester examination for the 2019/2020 academic session which was earlier postponed will commence on Monday, October 19th.
The Head Public Relations and Protocol of the Polytechnic, Mr. Yemi Ajibola disclosed this in a statement made available to Press Club MAPOLY on Saturday.
Ajibola also stated that the matriculation ceremony for fresh students will take place on November 5th.
Recall that PCM had earlier reported that the Management postponed the first-semester examination which was earlier scheduled for October 5th to October 19th to allow students to complete their registrations.
Also, the matriculation ceremony earlier scheduled for September 30th was postponed due to logistic reasons.
The PRO said " The first phase of the examination will involve all returning National Diploma and Higher National Diploma full-time and part-time, from Monday 19th of October to 31st of October 2020.
"While the second phase for fresh students National Diploma, and Higher National Diploma (ND 1 and HND 1) full-time and part-time, will start their own examination from Monday 9th to 21st of November 2020".
According to Ajibola "the oath-taking and matriculation ceremony for the fresh students will hold on Thursday 5th of November, 2020 at Otunba Gbenga Daniel Auditorium( OGD hall) by 9:30 am."
He advised all students to complete their registrations before the commencement of the examination warning that no student will be allowed into the examination hall without been fully registered and proper use of nose mask.
Ajibola also confirmed that the second semester for the 2019/2020 academic session will commence on November 23rd.
"It should be noted that no students would be allowed into the examination halls without been fully registered and without proper use of nose mask.
"The second semester for the 2019/2020 academic session will commence on Monday, 23rd November 2020.
"In the light of this, Management wishes all students success in the forthcoming examination."
