The Management of Moshood Abiola polytechic, junior chamber international (JCI), Association of Mass Communication Students (AMACOS), Ijebu Student Association and online Sports platform Nairasports has congratulate Student Union president-elect Comr. Samson Omoniyi popularly called Heritage and his executives, urging him to keep to his promises he proclaimed during his aspirations.
Heritage a mass communication student defeated his opposition Akinyemi Akinwale Samuel popularly called Genesis who also hail from same department after he polled 542 votes while Genesis polled 486 votes.
The Rector Dr. Odedina Samson congratulate the executives elected and appreciate the efforts of the electoral committee for conducting free and fair election and believe MAPOLY will rule the world
This was disclosed in a release signed by the polytechnic Public Relation officer, Yemi Ajibola after the conduct of the election.
"The rector, Dr Odedina thanked every stakeholder for their time and energy as well as for believing in the system saying; no doubt MAPOLY will rule the world.
"The rector said the conduct of this election was an indication that the future is bright for Nigeria with the students and leaders our institution is turning out to labour market.
"He expressed confidence in the ability of MAPOLY students to lead this country saying " MAPOLY students are everywhere doing well, I am sure, those coming out now, will surpass the set standard", he said
Reacting after Heritage victory, JCI Mapoly in a statement signed by the general secretary Opeyemi Olusanya claimed that his administration will bring back new mapoly.
"The entire board and members of Junior Chamber International(JCI) Mapoly Chapter congratulate Heritage and MAPSU executive’s elected.
"We believe your administration will bring back the New Mapoly you clamoured for. The student Populace believed in your Mandate to RESCUE MAPOLY, we urge you to work with your executives to give birth to a New MAPOLY we all are waiting for" he said
Also, the department of the two presidential Aspirants AMACOS also congratulate him and vow full supports to his administration.
AMACOS made this known in a Release signed by the Public Relation officer, Comr. Ayoola Ahmed immediately after the electoral Commission release the results.
"Congratulations, from the stable AMACOS, to the two MAPSU aspirants from this prestigious department,Omoniyi Samson(HERITAGE) and Johnson Idowu (OTUNBA,), for the success of today.
"For a new MAPOLY you have strived, campaigned, rain or sunshine, you stood your ground. And now, you’ve been given the mandate!!! Congratulations once again.
"As expected, we at AMACOS, both the Outgoing and incoming executives, with all Lecturers, stake holders and students shall jointly work to ensure that you have an itchfree administration, for the actualization of A NEW MAPOLY" he said
An online sports platform NAIRASPORTS also congratulate Heritage in an open letter titled letter to Heritage and mapsu executives elect signed by the publisher, Hassan Abdulsalam.
The letter warned the executives elect about the importance of keeping promise and urge the sports director to bring back the lost glory of sports in the institution.
"This mandate is a test from God and it can be one of the things that will make Al-jana (Heaven) an accomplish mission for you and other way round.
"To remain loyal and be remembered forever, you must keep the promises you made during your aspiration and remember promise, Promise is one the biggest sin.
"What you do today will surely become history tomorrow, MAPITES is facing different challenges and i believe that God will help you through
"The most pained is the sports Center being abandoned, Oresco with God I believe you will bring back the lost glory of MAPITES in sports.
"I will advise you that you should not focus only on football, bring back other sports.
"MAPOLY has the facilities but not maintained and used by athletes, I will be glad if there is MAPOLY Games not the usual Rector’s Cup.
"Allah will give you all the wisdom, knowledge, Guide and protect throughout your days in office." he said
Also, the Ijebu Students Association (ISA) has congratulated MAPSU executives elect.

Congratulate the newly elected MAPSU EXECUTIVES for the victory attained at the just concluded student union election held yesterday 21st march 2019 for the 2018/19 New Mapoly Academic session.
