The Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Students Union Government has pleaded with the management to extend the payment of the tuition fee by three weeks.
This information was gathered from the statement issued and made available to Press Club MAPOLY by the students’ Union Government.
The student union stated that the current economic situation and election break in the country have made it difficult for many students to meet their financial obligations.
The union implored the school management to remove the penalty fee and to make the payment portal accessible to those students who are yet to pay their fees.
In the statement: “It is disheartening that the penalty fee has been added to the payment portal, even though many students have been unable to access the portal due to circumstances beyond their control while some do not have the funds to pay the required fees at this moment.
“We request that the management should allow the students to work out a payment plan for the next three weeks.
The union added, “We appreciate the efforts of the management to ensure the smooth running of the institution and the welfare of the students. As responsible and law-abiding students, we are committed to meeting our financial obligations as soon as possible”.
