Moreover, the competition is aimed to discover and promote budding artists within the institution, it spanned several months and witnessed an impressive display of artistic prowess from various participants from different departments.
Miss Olapade Omowunmi (Aarinolah), an ND I Mass Communication student showcase her versatility as an artist among the notable artist on campus; Sogo Yung, Zamy, Bby Kitan, Wellz, Lil Rex, DeejahLove, Efe Trend, Sayomide, Layish Mayana, Dj Journalist, MC Leo, Black America, De Vibez and others.
Aarinolah, effortlessly delivered powerful vocal performances while captivating the crowd with her dynamic and energetic stage presence.
Throughout the competition, the panel of esteemed Judges, constituting of renowned industry professionals, praise her ability to convey genuine emotion and connect with the audience. Her unique style, with seamlessly blended contemporary and traditional influence garnered widespread acclaim and admiration from both the Judges and the spectators.
Her victory not only serves as an inspiration for aspiring artists but also highlights the importance of nurturing and promoting talent within educational institutions.
The Students’ Union President, Hezekiah Adelola expressed heartfelt congratulations to the victorious champion of the MAPOLY Artiste Night Season 1, Miss Olapade Omowunmi.
