NACOSS Mapoly inaugurates new executives

The National Association of computer science students (NACOSS) Mapoly chapter , has inaugurate new executives for the 2017/2018 academic session.

The outgoing administration which was led by comrade Lawal olalekan Yusuf for 2016/2017 academic session was dissolved for the newly executives to pilot the affairs of the students’ association for the new 2017/2018 academic session.

The newly executives are the NACOSS President, Comrade Bhadmus Samuel,
Vice President 1 is Mr kayode samuel, Mr Ogunyemi oluwafemi as the Public relations officer, Sport director – Mr olaniyi Samuel, Treasurer – Mr Babatunde Ganiu, financial secretary – Kelani Ibrahim, while the new software director is Miss Amah gift.

Speaking with PRESS CLUB MAPOLY on his administrative plans, the newly President Mr Bhadmus Samuel, assures students on periodic seminars and training in keeping them (students) abreast of innovations in the information technology world.

According to him, "We shall consolidate on the various achievements of my predecessor, also desire to emplace a new string of programs directed at enhancing the quality of education, without neglecting the social life of every NACOSSITES "

Samuel also stress further, "We shall partner with professionals from reputable I.T firms who will be coming to share ideas and experience with us"

On his part, the association’s staff adviser, Mr Leke Adebayo also gave his words of advise by imploring the newly executives to see themselves as a team so as to achieve all their proposed agendas, so as to also overcome all necessary challenges which might face their administration.

In his words, " They (Execs) are likely to face some challenges such as funds raising as only the HND new intakes were admitted while ND admission was never given this session. they should manage the little fund that will be raised"

In the same vein, the immediate past president, Mr Lawal Yusuf who later warned against disunity among executives however urges them to be accommodating to students as leadership skills begins with that.
