The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS), MAPOLY Chapter has inaugurated new executives to steer the affairs of the association for the ongoing academic year.
The inauguration was held at Sonola Building, Mass Communication department on Wednesday.
Musari Waliu from Mass Communication was inaugurated as the President while Lasilo James Oromidayo as the Vice President.
Sholola Abayomi emerged as the PRO 1 with Adewale Damilola as the General secretary
Other executives include; Jeboda Tolulope Aderonke, Welfare Director, Ogunpoju Oluwatosin, P.R.O II, Awofeso Bukunmi, Social Director, Sunday Blessing, Financial Secretary, Danni Shamsideen, Sports Director and Olaosebikan Ayomi, Treasurer.
The outgoing president, Matthew Ifeoluwa Moses urged the new executives to propagate NAOSS and sacrifice for the success of the association.
In his words, "I want the newly elected executives to focus on bringing more students into the association, educating them, sacrificing and building NAOSS generally. I know we haven’t done much due to COVID 19, nevertheless we’ve been able to achieve some things. I want the executives to work as a team in order to achieve the goals of NAOSS."
Meanwhile, the newly inaugurated President of NAOSS, Murasi Waliu a.k.a Jagaban told PRESS CLUB MAPOLY that he will work to make NAOSS a better association and strive for the development of Ogun state indigene students.
He said, "As the new president, I’m ready to work with all our stakeholders to make NAOSS a better one and also communicate with the government for betterment of Ogun state students in MAPOLY. I’ll not allow any influence to overshadow and spoil the mission I have for NAOSS. As the president, I’ll make sure everything goes in order."
