Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) , has celebrated the first anniversary of Arch. Dr. Koyejo Jolaoso as its 10th Rector, highlighting a year marked by reforms, institutional renewal, and strengthened campus relations.
Dr. Jolaoso, who assumed office in December 2024, is the first alumnus of the polytechnic to be appointed Rector a milestone widely viewed as both historic and symbolic.
His emergence was seen as a bridge between the institution’s legacy and its future aspirations.
Within one year, the administration has launched initiatives aimed at repositioning and rebranding the institution.
According to official statements, priority areas have included reinforcing academic integrity, upgrading infrastructure, improving student-management engagement, and advancing institutional modernization.
A defining feature of the Rector’s leadership has been his student-centered approach. Reforms introduced under his administration have focused on enhancing communication between management and students, strengthening campus security, and streamlining academic processes.
