The Press Club of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic MAPOLY, Abeokuta, has honoured the Rector, Arc. Dr. ’Koye Jolaoso, with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his exceptional leadership and contributions to student development.
The award presentation, held on Wednesday in the Rector’s office, was led by the President of the Press Club, Lateef Gbadamosi, who described Dr. Jolaoso as “an exemplary leader and a solid pillar to the students of the Polytechnic.”
Gbadamosi added that the honour was a meritorious recognition of the Rector’s dedication to academic excellence, infrastructural growth, and unwavering support for student initiatives.
Responding, Dr. Jolaoso expressed appreciation for the recognition, describing it as both an honour and a challenge to do more.
“I take this award as an honour and a further challenge to do more, being one of you as an Ambassador,” he said.
The brief but significant event was attended by the Editor of PCM, Adebisi Fawaz, the General Secretary of PCM, Ogunsola Odunayo, and the Public Relations Officer, Kemahoun Isaac and the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Yemi Ajibola.
With this honour, the Press Club reaffirmed its tradition of celebrating excellence and leadership that positively impact the Polytechnic community.
