Ogun State Government has declared Tuesday, 24th, and Wednesday, 25th January, work-free days for all workers in the state.
This is according to a statement issued by the Ogun State Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, ‘following the extension of the Permanent Voter Cards collection by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the exercise will end on Sunday, January 29, 2023’.
Governor Abiodun, urged all executive members of public markets and private establishments in the state to allow flexibility in their schedules in other to visit the Independent National Electoral Commission’s offices or collection centers where they registered to collect their PVCs.
He also emphasized that “voting is a civic responsibility, and all citizen are allowed to exercise their right to choose who governs them.”
