An HND1 Mass Communication student, Debola Asaolu has died in a fatal accident after attending church service on Sunday.

Press Club MAPOLY gathered that the deceased was on her way back from the church on Sunday when she was hit by a vehicle along Japo area of Abeokuta.
PCM also learnt that the deceased was on bike when she was hit by the coming vehicle around 1pm.
An eyewitness told PCM the vehicle crushed her head and she was rushed to a nearby hospital but was rejected as the accident was beyond their control and before she could be taken to another hospital for treatment she gave up the ghost.
She was also said to have been rejected by four different hospitals in Abeokuta, Federal Medical Center Idi Aba(FMC), Lantoro hospital, and Hope hospital. Only Mercy hospital accepted her in for treatment but she gave up the ghost few minutes after.

Eye witness said “She was on a bike coming back from church, but the car behind them was driving recklessly and the bike man was scared so he wanted to make way for him but unfortunately the girl fall off the bike to the road, and the car crush her head.
“She was rushed to an hospital close to where the accident occurred but they rejected her, before they could carry her to another hospital she give up the ghost”
The news of the death of the deceased was shocking to many of her friends, colleagues as well as the entire Mass Communication students who has since taken to their social media to register their condolences.
