The Life We Live

Life is strange, it twists, it turns,
It gives us more than what we yearn.
What we pray for, doesn’t show,
What we don’t want, starts to grow.

We reach for stars, but fall through sky,
We smile outside, but inside cry.
The things we love, stay far away,
The things we fear come every day.

We chase a dream, it runs too fast,
We hold on tight, but it doesn’t last.
We wait for peace, but trouble calls,
We try to rise, but life just stalls.

Yet, still, we walk, we try, we breathe,
We plant small hope in silent seeds.
Though life may twist and make no sense,
We learn through tears, we gain through dents.

So when it hurts, just take it slow,
There’s more to life than we may know.
Even in pain, we still survive—
Confused, unsure… but still alive.
