We read with hope ,we wrote with trust ,
Prepare like a war, hoping to conquer.
Poured our minds, into the night.
But daylight robbery, robbed us of our right.
The ink has dried, the marks remain,
Etched in silence, carved in pain.
We searched for truth, but found no key,
Lost in waves of apathy.
Our voices rise, yet might be unheard,
Drowned beneath a hollow word.
The ink was ours, the sweat, the strain,
Yet all we hold is silent pain.
Did our efforts turn to dust?
Scores that twist, hearts that sink,
Drowned beneath a system’s brink.
Not for favor, not for grace,
Only fairness, not disgrace.
Let the papers tell the tale,
Erase the shadows, lift the veil.
