The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR has disclosed that In his second term administration, he will create an avenue for Jobs opportunity for thousands of youths in the state.
Speaking after taking the oath of allegiance and office administered by the Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice Mosumola Dipeolu, at the M.K.O Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun revealed that his administration in the last four years had employed about 5000 interns to fill the vacancies of the teachers in primary, secondary and technical schools in the state through the Ogun Teach intervention program.

He added that his administration had also employed 50 doctors through the ‘Ilera dero’ scheme.
Abiodun further noted that the administration’s effort on the citizenry’s health was also recognized by the ‘National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) when Ogun state was declared as the overall best-performing state in the southwest on Routine Immunisation (RI) and Covid’19 Vaccination.
He further stated that his administration in the last tenure had provided transformers to more than 300 communities in all the Local Governments in the state to boost the electricity supply in the state.
The governor noted that his administration has constructed more in terms of kilometers of the road than the previous administration in the state.
The road projects include; Ilaro-Owode Road, ijebu-ode – Mojoda Road, Epe Road, Abeokuta-siun – Sagamu interchange Road, Atan-Lusada – Agbara Road, Panseke-Adigbe – Opako Road, Ilishan – Ago-iwoye road, Idi-aba – Elite – Oke-Lantoro road and Fajol – American Junction – Unity road, just to mention but few.
Abiodun stated, “I have signed the appropriate release of 49 prison inmates and three condemn prisoners on medical and long imprisonment in different correctional homes.

“I have also signed a warrant ordering that the death sentences imposed on 3 death row convicts be immediately converted to prison sentences,” he added.
