In the past weeks, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic students have faulted the school management inaction in solving the uneasy transportation to school.
Press Club MAPOLY survey has shown that weekly, the struggle for transportation to school increases steadily, as most students still lobby on different part of the road side to get to school.
As against the Panseke-Oluwo station, most students have resulted to boarding shuttle buses from the nearest bus station available.
In recent developments, PCM learnt that security officials positioned at the school’s gate are allegedly receiving bribes to pass unregistered motorcycles into the school.
Prior to this development, the institution only permits licensed cars and registered buses into the school premises.
PCM discovered that agreed amount ranging from N100 to N150 is allegedly collected as bribe by the security officials to pass bikes into the school.
Recall the PCM has published reports about the worsen state of transportation in this session with the clamor raised by students to the management to help ease their struggle.
PCM also reported that at about 7am to 9am, there are not enough shuttle available at the Panseke-Oluwo station.
Also, it was reported that taxes, high bills, dues and bad roads might top the reasons for the insufficiency of shuttle busses to transport students to school.
However, the polytechnic had released three TATA long buses (Macopolo) to the bus stations to convey students to school.
