We will continue to Partner MAPOLY to Develop Education in Nigeria, JAMB reveals

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has revealed that it will continue to partner all tertiary institutions in the country to develop the education sector.

Revealing this was JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede at the 2020/2021 MAPOLY Matriculation ceremony on Thursday.

Oloyede, who was represented by Mrs Olapeju Alade, disclosed that aspirants should ensure they obtain their National Identification Number to eradicate impersonation and other social vibes.

She added that admission is still currently going on for MAPOLY applicants.

According to her, "The board will want to use this medium to congratulate the matriculating students on this giant step they have taken in their personal academic pursuit. The board is also using this medium to encourage and urge all desiring candidates who may want to make this citadel of knowledge as their choice to ensure that they obtain their national Identification number (NIN) before the commencement of the 2022 UTME/DE registration exercise. This is to ensure that all cases of impersonation, multiplicity of identity susceptibility to fraudulent and corrupt practices and other identified challenges are addressed to provide quality input in our tertiary institutions.

"We will continue to partner with all tertiary institutions for the purpose of collective gains of the nation’s education sector, this having been revamping education.

"This is to also inform all prospective candidates and parents present here today that the admission for 2021/2022 is still ongoing and change of course and institution facilities is still available at the jamb offices and all our accredited CBT centers. You are expected to accept your admission offer on jamb caps to authenticate your admission.

She also congratulated the newly matriculated students and urged them to be proactive in their academic sojourn.
