The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has disclosed that the decision of 60/40 payment of school fees lies solely with the management.
It stated that it is no prerogative of the students.
In an interview with Press Club MAPOLY, the school’s Public Relations Officer, Yemi Ajibola said that the decision of what payment to be made is always influenced by prevailing circumstances.
He said that to ensure that the standard in the school is sustained, the management takes into consideration these circumstances and decides what percentage students will pay as school fees.
"The prerogative of what percentage to pay resides in the management considering prevailing circumstances in ensuring standard is sustained," Ajibola said.
Both newly admitted students and pre-existing students of the school had expressed shock over the sudden non-availability of 60/40 payment option for freshers.
