The Managing Director of Splash Estate has revealed the reasons why the Estate agent gave lands to the winners of the Association of Mass Commission Students Public Speaking Winners.
Press Club MAPOLY reports that Splash Estate gave one plot of land to the winner, First runner up and half plot of land to the winners of the third edition of AMACOS public speaking.
Adekunle Sanusi of HND one emerged the winner while Sulaimon Okikiola Emerged the first runner up and ND one student Mogaji Suliyat emerged the Second runner up.
Revealing the reasons for donating land to the winners, the founder of splash Estate, Victor Eniola Mark said that the aim is to give students the opportunity to have a home.
Mark who was represented by Emmanuel Oke at the Grande finale of the competition told PCM that many don’t encourage people that devote time for academics but encourage immorality.
According to him, "Splash estate is a real estate agent that is giving thousands of youths to have a home and as part of giving back to the society and encouraging public speakers we extend that privilege of becoming homeowners on time to students to take it from that very young age that and that’s why splash estate is giving back.
"And we understand the current situation of Nigeria where frivolities are celebrated and academic activities are not celebrated as it should be.
"We are on our part to do our best to celebrate academics excellence in public speaking, we need to encourage people who are doing very well in academic " he said
