The leadership of Estate Management and Valuation Students Association has warned students of the department to avoid wrong company of friends.
EMVA also charged the students to be hard working and focused in their pursuit of success in the 37-year old polytechnic.

This was made known in a welcome message jointly signed by the association President, Ajibola Akinwande and Public Relations Officer, Olamilekan Gbaga.
The association also urged the students to uphold the ‘core values’ of the department in all of their dealings.
The message reads in part, “it is with profound joy and gladness the leadership of Estate Management and Valuation Students Association (EMVSA), warmly welcomes all her progressive members back to Campus as lectures for 2016/2017 academic session commences officially.
“We enjoin us work hard, remain focus and avoid wrong peer group.
“In the same vein, we enjoin us to continue to uphold the core values of our foremost Department vehemently in all our dealings as this remains the only light that can guide us through this academic Voyage.
“More so , we believe that no one is an island of knowledge, neither is anyone a dragon of perpetual ignorance. So therefore, in this ‘mission to bridge the gap’, we are all partners in progress.
“Irrespective of our differences, let us work together as a team to make our EMVSA great again.
“We pray that at the end of the travail, the grand architect of the universe will crown all our effort with undiluted success (Amen).”
