DSA to lead taskforce on indecent dressing, as offenders risk two semesters suspension

The Director of Students’Affairs, Dr Kolawole Amos, is set to lead task forces on campus to fight against indecent dressings in the institution, as he vowed to suspend violators.

According to the DSA, during a meeting held with all departments stakeholders, on Tuesday, the school would not give room for any form of indecent dressings on campus.

The DSA, during the meeting, frankly warned that any students caught for indecent dressing shall be penalized with immediately effect.

He further said that the tasks force will be on ground to sanction any student who falls victims of the lay down rules given to them to comply with.

He therefore urged students to comply to the new action of the school on dressing decently, stressing that it would be a huge embarrassment for any student that was caught.

Speaking on the issue of sport, the DSA said he’s always impressed with activities in regards to sport, as he commended the rector’s action towards sport activities on campus.

He added that the Rector, Dr Adeoye Odedeji, had given him directives, stressing that he’s going to be held responsible for any notorious action caused by any department.

He further said any department that is not willing to sign an under taken will not participate in the sport, adding that every departmental president and sport director are to comply to some rules by signing an under taken.

On his part, the school councillor Mr Gbenga also added to the issues of indecent dressing, saying that the school won’t take it likely with any student who falls victim.

The DSA also urged student to pay their Student Union fee, stressing that it is the only criteria for the sport to be approved.
