Fawaz Adebisi

As Muslims across the world prepare to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has officially suspended all afternoon examinations scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday.

The announcement was confirmed on Wednesday by the institution’s Dean of Students’ Affairs, Dr. David Aninkan, alongside the President of the Student Union Government, SUG, Ogunlana Isaac, popularly known as Iceconray.

According to Dr Aninkan, morning exams, scheduled to hold tomorrow are still fixed, however, afternoon exams have been postponed.

“The morning paper is supposed to hold,” he said. Echoing his statement, Iceconray said, “the morning paper will hold for sure. Then people having paper in the afternoon and evening should get to their respective HODs through the departmental presidents to confirm.”

However, it has been confirmed from the DSA that afternoon exams have been postponed while morning exams remain fixed for tomorrow.

The suspension, therefore, affects only afternoon sessions of the examination; morning papers, however, will proceed as scheduled.
