MAPOLY Clears Misconceptions Over End-of-Year Academic Break

The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), has clarified that the ongoing end-of-year academic break applies strictly to lecture and other academic activities, stressing that all administrative and related duties are to continue without interruption.

In a statement issued by the institution, Management explained that the clarification became necessary following misconceptions by some members of staff regarding the scope of the Academic Board-approved end-of-year break.

According to the Polytechnic, only academic activities such as lectures are suspended, while administrative operations remain fully in force.

The statement further directed that all activities connected to the preparation and processing of admissions and academic results must proceed as scheduled.

Furthermore,these include, but are not limited to, the ongoing processing of the 2024/2025 First Semester examination results, as well as the 2025/2026 admission and registration exercises across all Directorates, Schools, Departments, and Units of the institution.

Management urged all staff members to continue to discharge their responsibilities diligently, emphasizing that collective commitment is vital to the sustained growth and progress of the Polytechnic.

Meanwhile, the Polytechnic announced that, in line with established practice, half-day duty will be observed on Tuesday, December 24, and Tuesday, December 31, 2025.
