The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has dismissed a viral social media publication titled “MAPOLY Clearance and Mobilisation Procedure”, describing it as false, misleading, and unofficial.
In a statement issued by the institution’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Yemi Ajibola, the Polytechnic clarified that the circulating information does not emanate from the management and should be completely disregarded by students and members of the public.
According to the statement, MAPOLY has fully transitioned to a seamless digital academic document processing system through the MAPOLY Integrated Central System (MICS), eliminating the need for students to be physically present on campus for clearance and related academic processes.
“The institution now operates a seamless digital academic document processing system through the MAPOLY Integrated Central System (MICS), without the need for physical presence on campus,” the statement noted.
The management also warned students and the public against dealing with individuals allegedly taking advantage of the previous manual system to defraud unsuspecting persons.
It was added that members of the public seeking clarification or official updates were advised to visit the institution’s official website or contact the Polytechnic through its designated communication channels.
