Mapoly ranks 5th best Polytechnic in Nigeria- Rector

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic has said the the 40 year-old institution ranks the fifth best polytechnic across the country.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Samson Odedina, said this while orientating the newly admitted students on conducts of institution saying the institution is coming fifth after KADUNA POLYTECHNIC,YABA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY, RAHMOT POLY, MAIDUGURI, IMT ENUGU POLY.

The new students who were admitted into the 2018/2019 academic session were urged to relate their successes in admission to their prospective students thereby portraying the institution in good light.

He said, "We are working to make a new MAPOLY even with the Student Union Executives and I am so lucky to be a rector of the institution. I started my career as an ND graduate, in 1986,and I want to tell you that do not let anyone discourage you."

Odedina assured that in the next 5 days, the final matriculation list would be submitted to jamb so as to allow the National Youth Service Corps and Joint Admission Matriculation Board to process them.

The rector however announced August 8th as the matriculation day and urged freshers to be fast with their registration before the day of matriculation and warned students against indecent dressing.

The Orientation exercise took place at the OTUNBA GBENGA DANIEL HALL were all management team, Heads of Department, School Officers and Student Executives were present.
