MAPOLY Rector Visits Lecture Halls, Urges Students To Complete Registration

The Rector of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Arc. Dr. ’Koye Jolaoso, on Tuesday paid an unscheduled visit to several lecture halls to monitor the progress of academic activities and the level of student engagement.

Addressing the students during the visit, Dr. Jolaoso encouraged the students to take their studies seriously and strive for excellence in their various programmes. He emphasized that staff members stand in loco parentis and remain committed to supporting students’ legitimate academic needs.

This was gathered in a press statement signed the institution’s Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Yemi Ajibola.

The Rector also reminded students to familiarize themselves with the institution’s approved academic calendar. He noted that the Academic Board has endorsed the first-semester calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session, which came into effect on Monday, 27 October 2025.

Dr. Jolaoso further advised students to complete their registration on or before Friday, 5 December 2025, stressing the importance of timely compliance for a smooth academic process.

In the same vein, he urged students to promptly report any challenges encountered in their studies through appropriate channels for quick resolution.
